When does registration begin?
Registration opens on January 4, 2025 at 9:00 am. Be ready with your RV VIN as it is required for registration.
What do I need for registration?
- Your credit card for payment
- Year, Brand & Model of RV (Example: 2017 369RL Solitude)
- The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) of your RV. This is used to verify that you are a valid Grand Design owner.
- Guest Information
- Arrival Day
Where do I find my VIN?
For Towables, your VIN is located on the driver's side of the trailer near the front corner.
For Motorized, your VIN is on a yellow sticker located on the drivers door frame or entry door frame.
Another option is to look for your VIN on your insurance card or policy.
What does the registration fee cover?
ONE TICKET includes 4 nights of camping (Wed-Sat) and most rally activities for up to 2 adults and all minor children under the age of 18. Each additional adult staying in the rig will need to purchase an extra adult ticket to help cover the cost of meals and incidentals.
Can I arrive early or stay later than the rally dates?
Yes, you can! You may arrive on Tuesday but requires the purchase of an additional camping day fee. Any days after the rally ends can be handled by the camp host at the fairgrounds during your stay.
Is my camping fee any less if I only will be there for 2 or 3 nights instead of 4?
No, your camping fee covers 4 nights of camping, whether you are there or not. We have reserved the entire camping area for our rally.
What is a double pull thru or double back-in site?
A double pull through site is approximately 120' long with utility hookups on the driver's side.
A double back-in site is 2 regular sites with hookups on the driver's side. No running utilities under your RV or having a cramped site. You may park your vehicle next to your RV. We made this change based on feedback.
What is the rally refund policy?
Refunds can be requested through your Eventbrite registration up until May 3rd, 2025. Any requests after that date will be considered on a case-by-case basis and only if we are able to fill your spot from the waitlist. There will be no refunds after June 3, 2025.
What happens if the rally sells out?
Join the waitlist! We will issue tickets off of the waitlist as sites become available for your size rig. You will have 24 hours to redeem your ticket. An email will be sent to you notifying you that a spot has become available.
Can I camp next to my friends or family?
You can request to be in the same area as your friends! This will vary based on your site preference. Make sure to confer with your friends before registration so you can plan your site section together. Be sure to note their name(s) on the space provided during registration. We will try to accommodate all requests but not guaranteed.
Can I request a specific site?
No, you can only select which area you want to be in. Sites will be assigned right before the rally so we can minimize changes due to cancellations and trying to park people next to each other if requested.
Can I add Tuesday Night Camping after I have already registered?
Yes, you can. Go to our Eventbrite registration link and purchase your Tuesday Night stay. Note: Eventbrite will ask you all of the same questions again. Sorry. We have no control over that. https://www.thegrandfair.com/2025/01/oops-i-forgot-tuesday.html
Are dogs allowed at the rally?
Yes, dogs are allowed at the rally. Only ADA service animals are allowed in the Event Center due to the presence of food. There is a fenced dog run in the camping area. Please clean up after your pets, keep them leashed and do not let them bark uncontrollably. Be nice to your neighbors.
Can I bring my grandchildren?
Yes! We love having children at the rally. We try to plan at least one activity daily specifically for our younger campers.
Can I pitch a tent on my site?
The only tents we allow on your site are canopy or screen tents. No sleeping in tents please. All guests must sleep inside your RV.
Can we have campfires?
For safety reasons, we do not permit wood-burning campfires. Propane firepits are permitted. We are in a wildland fire prone area, plus our campsites are close together.
What is Taco Tuesday all about?
If you are arriving on Tuesday, we will be doing a Taco Tuesday. The rally will provide the taco meat and tortillas. We ask that you bring a taco topping (lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese, etc) or a side dish to share with everyone.
Can I be a vendor or sponsor of the rally?
For sponsorship details or more information, please reach out to wastateownersrally@gmail.com. Vendors - we will be in touch with you after normal rally registration concludes to pay for your registration fee.
Will there be Grand Design Techs at the rally?
Yes, there will be a tech to handle recalls and emergency repairs. Please note that because our rally falls over a holiday, we are trying to be respectful of the team at the rally so they can be with their family.
